Your hosting account comes with a main email account already set up. The name of this account is the username that you were assigned in your setup email.
The catch-all email feature has also been set up for you. This means
that anything@yourdomain.com will be forwarded to your main emailbox. The
advantage of this is that you can use different email addresses, like
support@yourdomain.com, sales@yourdomain.com, info@yourdomain.com, etc. and all
the emails sent to those different addresses will all come into the main
emailbox. If the same person is checking for emails sent to these addresses, it
makes it easy for that person to login to just the main emailbox to receive the
email without having to log into multiple separate emailboxes if each of those
had been set up as a separate email address. If you want to change the email
address that the catch-all feature uses to forward all the email to, click on
the Default Address icon
in the
Email Management area and type in the address you want all your email to go to.
You can set up as many POP (Post Office Protocol) email accounts as you require, up to your maximum limit. Each one of these is in the standard email formation of address@yourdomain.com. As with your main email address, you can access these accounts through NeoMail or through your own offline email software application (also known as an email client).
There are 2 ways you can send and receive email:
1. Using an email software program (also
called an email client), like Outlook Express
2. Using webmail
